Family Camp 2024
Due to the fires at Silver Lake Bible Camp this year, we will need to be flexible and move our family camp to... Onecho!
We have tried many camping options, but with such short notice and the continued fires up north, we need to stay close to home this year.
We have many ideas and more to come, but a brief weekend itinerary is listed below. See you there!
ONECHO FAMILY CAMP
"Camp Onecho"
September 16-17, 2023
Saturday:
9:30 1st Session
10:30 Coffee Break
11:00 2nd Session
12:30 Lunch Provided
On Saturday afternoon we are encouraging people to get together and do something but it is NOT part of our schedule.
This will be up to each individual family.
Some suggestions:
a)If the weather is nice meet at Boyer Park for swimming and visiting
b)If the weather is poor meet at Zeppoz in Pullman for bowling (it is a Cougar football weekend so it may be busy??)
c)Other activities---hatchet throwing in Moscow, etc.
Sunday:
10:00. 3rd Session: Including Communion
12:00 Lunch Provided
Suggested Donation: Any donations made will go to the “Local Relief Fund” to be put towards Silver Lake Camp and the Staff Members who lost their homes in the fire.
Carpenter’s Cross will be here to provide programs during the
sessions for our children ages 4-11.
We will not have a cookie sign up but would like to have some cookies available for coffee breaks/dessert.
Our Speaker:
Eric Morse
Wife: Brooke
Kids: Brynn, Sadie, & Camille
Born and raised in southern Oregon, Eric is the third oldest of seven children. Eric's parents were faithful to nurture him in the knowledge and fear of the Lord. Eric attended Seattle Pacific University to study biology in hopes of becoming a medical doctor. During his first year of college, however, the Lord directed Eric away from the medical field and toward pastoral ministry. Upon confirmation from mentors and through much prayer, Eric followed his conviction to participate in the advancement of the gospel through pastoral ministry.
Eric graduated from SPU with a bachelor's degree in Educational Ministry with minors in Global & Urban Ministry and Youth Ministry. Eric then completed a Master of Divinity (MDiv) from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry (DMin) at Western Seminary.
Eric is married to Brooke, who holds a Doctorate of Pharmacy, obtained through Washington State University - Riverpoint in Spokane. Brooke is a full-time mom at home and a part-time employee at Tick-Klock Drug in Colfax, WA. Eric and Brooke have three daughters, Brynn (2), Sadie (1) and Camille (5 Months). The Morse family enjoys time with family and friends and serving the local church in various ways. Brooke currently serves primarily in children’s ministry as a caretaker of toddlers and infants as well as helping to lead worship as a female vocalist.
Eric currently serves his sending church by overseeing the youth and young adult ministries at Fourth Memorial Church. Eric also preaches at Sunday morning worship gatherings from time to time. As Eric has grown in ministry ability and theological understanding, God has developed a conviction to be about church planting locally in the greater Spokane area. The elders of Fourth Memorial affirmed Eric’s conviction and committed to partnering with him and Brooke to initiate a church plant in the Moran Prairie neighborhood in South Spokane in June 2024.
